What is Endoscopic abdominoplasty?

Endoscopic abdominoplasty is the application of endoscopic technology to abdominoplasty, and has achieved better postoperative results than traditional methods. The separation of rectus abdominis was treated with minimal incisions, leaving inconspicuous postoperative scars. Compared with traditional methods of abdominoplasty, endoscopic technology has obvious advantages: less tissue trauma, lower probability of infection and small scar. Scars can be hidden in skin wrinkles or in old cesarean section scars or pubic hair. This technique has significantly improved patient satisfaction.

Scars after endoscopic abdominoplasty are almost invisible, hidden in the pubic hair and belly button. This technique can correct rectus muscle separation and abnormal fat accumulation while preserving the patient's normal anatomy. This technique relies on the elastic retraction of the skin, avoiding unnecessary skin removal and thus minimizing scarring.
